Blackmon a 6’4 C/o 2015 highly athletic player committed to Eastern Illinois University of the Ohio Valley Conference. Blacking is coming off a good junior season that he averaged 17 points and 9 rebounds per game for a very good Fort Zumwalt South High School team that will be locked and loaded again this upcoming year. Blackmon is a very aggressive wing that loves to attack the basket and had a very solid summer of AAU with the St. Louis Eagles.
Harris committs to Austin Peay.
Stephen Harris is a smooth wing with a deadly scoring touch. At 6’4 Harris continued Head Coach Dave Loos and Austin Peay’s strong ties to the St. Louis area by getting a commitment from one of the area top C/o 2015 players in Harris. After averaging 13 points per game for a very deep and talented Webster Groves High School team as a junior Harris will help lead the Statesmen again this year in their quest for a state title. The athletic and smooth Harris competed well this summer with the Gateway Basketball Club.
Casey Teson will head to Eastern Illinois.
Teson a 6’2 C/o 2015 all state combo guard from St. Charles High School has ended his recruitment by committing to Eastern Illinois University of the Ohio Valley Conference just prior to his senior year. Teson who has had a stellar high school career averaged 18 points per game for a very deep and talented Pirates team that looks to be one of the top teams again this year in the area. Teson had a very successful summer while playing with MoKan out of Kansas City.
Alex Floresca heading out west after committing to University of San Diego
6’7 senior big man Alex Floresca of Webster Groves High School was a very sought after post player around the country by numerous division 1 schools but one always stood out and that one won the battle as the University of San Diego of the West Coast Conference. Floresca is a physical post that never takes a play off and excels in transition. Floresca averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds per game as a junior and looks to lead a very deep and talented Statesman team again this year. Floresca had a very solid summer of AAU with the Gateway Basketball Club
Zach Glotta to Austin Peay.
6’0 point guard Zach Glotta will head to the Ohio Valley Conference as he committed to Austin Peay University. Glotta will be the focal point for Fort Zumwalt North this year as his brother graduated last year after an incredible high school career. The younger Glotta is an athletic lead guard that finishes at the rim with ease and has range out to three to stretch the defense. Glotta averaged 15 points and 5 assists per game for Ft. Zumwalt North last year as a junior. Glotta is coming off a very successful summer with Gateway Basketball Club.
